Amritsar : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President, Sukhbir Singh Badal, suffered an unfortunate fall at the Akal Takht Sahib on Wednesday. While there to submit an appeal regarding his ‘tankhaiya’ punishment, Badal lost his balance and fell off a chair, resulting in a leg fracture. He had arrived to request a swift decision on his religious punishment.

The Akal Takht Sahib had earlier declared Sukhbir Singh Badal as ‘tankhaiya’ (having violated Sikh religious norms). However, during his visit, Badal fell from a chair and injured himself, fracturing his leg.
