Speaker of Parmar holds meeting with the officials regarding Presiding Officer’s Conference

Dharamsala, Oct 25 (UNI) Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Assembly Mr. Vipan Singh Parmar on Monday chaired an important meeting with the officers of the Legislative Assembly regarding the preparations for the proposed conference of the All India Presiding Officers at Tapovan, Dharamsala and gave necessary directions to prepare the action plan of the conference.

Mr Parmar said that 450 Speakers, Deputy Speakers, Secretries and other officers of all the legislative assemblies of the country will attend the 82nd All India Presiding officers conference at Tapovan Assembly Complex from November 15 to 18 this year. He said that the Speaker of the Lok Saba Mr. Om Birla has given an approval for holding this conference at Tapovan next month.
Parmar said that this conference was held at Shimla in 1921 in the month of September and after a century this conference is held in 2021 at Dharamshala. He said that 58th conference of the Secretries of the assemblies will be held on November 15 at Dharamshala followed by 82nd conference of the presiding officers of Assemblies will be inaugurated by Speaker of the Lok Saba on November 16 and will conclude on November 17.
On November 18 the guests will visit different places surrounding Dharamshala.
