Sonakshi Sinha Calls Hubby Zaheer Iqbal an ‘Irritating Person’

Mumbai : Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, known for her roles in films like Dabangg, has recently shared a humorous moment with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, on Instagram, calling him a “VVIP” (Very Very Irritating Person). The playful exchange came after Zaheer posted a video where he joked about Sonakshi’s habit of taking long shots with the camera.

Sonakshi took to her Instagram stories to re-share Zaheer’s video, adding her cheeky comment: “You are a VVIP, very very irritating person.” The couple’s light-hearted banter is endearing fans, showcasing their fun and candid relationship.

Earlier in the week, Sonakshi had also shared videos from her visit to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where she was seen cheering for Team India during the Boxing Day Test between India and Australia. One of the videos captured Zaheer playing cricket with kids on the ground during a break, further offering a glimpse into their shared moments of joy.

Sonakshi and Zaheer, who tied the knot in June 2024 after dating for seven years, first met at a party hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Interestingly, both of them launched their careers in Bollywood under Salman’s banner—Sonakshi in Dabangg and Zaheer in the film Notebook. Their wedding was followed by a star-studded reception, attended by Bollywood’s who’s who.

On the professional front, Sonakshi will soon be seen sharing screen space with Zaheer in the upcoming project Tu Hai Meri Kiran, following their previous collaborations in Double XL and the music video Blockbuster.
