Sikkim’s Marathon man Amar Subba to participate in Mumbai Marathan
Amar Subba also ran a Marathon for Cancer patient Bandana
Gangtok, Aug 25 ( UNI ) Marathon Man of Sikkim, Amar Subba is going to participate in the sixth Edition of Mumbai 24 Hour Run. The event is scheduled to take place on 28th and 29th August 2021.
The Marathon is organised by NEB Sports, and will be flagged-off at the Wings Sports Centre, Reclamation, Bandra West, Mumbai.
Subba’s poster has been put up in the stadium by NEB Sports.
“I have taken 10 years to reach this stage. Feel well prepared after running up to Yoksum and Khechuperi, West Sikkim on the hilly roads,” said Amar Subba, here, all the way from West Sikkim today.
The marathon man thanked Chief Minister PS Tamang for his support.
Subba, 51 years of age, is accompanied with 3 others. “Display of his life size poster in NEB Stadium, Mumbai is a matter of pride for Sikkimese”, said Rinzing Wangyal Choppel, SKM Sports Wing Incharge.
