Rocket fired at Israel from Gaza Strip, air defense system intercepts

Tel Aviv: One rocket has been fired from the Gaza Strip to Israel but has been intercepted by an air defense system, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
Minutes earlier, the IDF said that air raid sirens had sounded in the southern part of Israel, including the city of Ashkelon.
