Retreat Ceremony Timing Revised at Attari-Wagah Border in Amritsar

Amritsar : In Amritsar, the timing of the famous Beating Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Border has been revised.

According to the Border Security Force (BSF), a new schedule has been introduced for the ceremony, which attracts a large number of visitors every day.

As per the updated timing, the ceremony will now begin at 5:30 PM and continue until 6:00 PM. Earlier, it used to start at 5:00 PM and end around 5:30 PM.

Officials stated that the decision was taken keeping in mind changes in daylight hours and weather conditions. The adjustment also aims to enhance the visitor experience and ensure smooth security arrangements.

The new timing has come into effect from April 1. BSF officials have requested tourists and local visitors to arrive according to the revised schedule to help maintain proper arrangements.
