Rename Aurangabad as Sambhaji Nagar: Suhas Dashrate
MNS leader recalls Bala Saheb's clarion call in 1988
Aurangabad, Dec 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Wednesday issued ultimatum to ruling Shiv sena to rename Aurangabad city name as Sambhajinagar before republic day .
MNS district president and former Shiv Sainik Suhas Dashrate said in his statement that , Hindu Hrudaysamrat (heart emperor) late Balasaheb Thackeray had announced the renaming of Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 1988.
.
It was now 32 years were passed for that and all the Maharaj Mavale’s willing that the announcement should come true. MNS chief Hindujan Nayak Raj Saheb Thackeray himself has started a campaign for Sambhajinagar, said Mr Dashrate. He alledged that ,now a days the Shiv Sena has come up with the naming of Sambhajinagar only for political gain. Now the Shiv Sena has the keys to the power in the state and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray himself is the Chief Minister.
Now the Shiv Sena should rename Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar before the Republic Day in order to maintain its word and political existence. Otherwise, from now on, do not mention Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar. MNS chief Raj Thackeray and MNS soldiers will name Aurangabad Sambhajinagar in MNS style. Shiv Sena should not worry about it, MNS is strong for that, the residents of Sambhajinagar have recognized the game of Aurangabad and Sambhajinagar.
So from now on, stop to seek votes under the name of Sambhajinagar, give priority to peace and development instead. Despite sena in power since last many years in civic body citizens still do not have access to clean water, roads and infrastructure. Shiv Sena should accept moral responsibility for not being able to provide these facilities and take a stand not to contest any election ,he added.
