Rebel Congress MLA slams Priyanka Gandhi for politicising everything

Lucknow, Nov 20(UNI) Rebel Congress MLA from Rae Bareli Sadar seat Aditi Singh, on Saturday hit out at Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and blamed her for politicising every issue.
While talking to media here, Ms Singh, who was once a very close associate of Priyanka, said Priyanka Gandhi had a problem when the three farm bills were implemented. But now she again has a problem when the Laws (Farm Laws) have been withdrawn.

“What does she want? She should say it clearly. She is only politicising the matter. She has now run out of issues to politicise,” Ms Singh said.

On the Lakhimpur Kheri issue, she said “As far as Lakhimpur and other issues are concerned, Priyanka Gandhi always politicised it.SIT probe is underway into the Lakhmipur incident and SC is taking cognisance of it. If she doesn’t trust the institutions, I can’t understand whom does she trust?,” the Congress MLA said.

Aditi Singh’s comment came after Priyanka sent a letter to PM demanding sacking of MoS Ajay Mishra and withdrawal of cases against the farmers during the agitation.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi is the MP from Rae Bareli. But Aditi Singh and another Congress MLA from Harchandpur Rakesh Singh, both assembly segment of the Rae Bareli parliamentary seat, have openly revolted against the party.

Congress had already moved a disqualification petition against them for joining the BJP, but it has been rejected by the Assembly Speaker.
