Rangasamy demands resignation of Puducherry CM

Puducherry, Feb 16 (UNI) All India N R Congress president and leader of the opposition N Rangasamy on Tuesday demanded that chief minister V Narayanasmay should resign immediately as his government was reduced to a minority.
Talking to media after a meeting of the opposition parties here, as the Congress legislators resigned, the government was reduced to a minority and owning moral responsibility Chief Minister V Narayanasamy should resign…If, he failed to tender his resignation, the opposition parties would discuss and chalk out the future course of action, he said.
He said the Congress members resigned on their own as they themselves are dissatisfied with the government.
Rangasamy charged that the Congress legislators were ignored by the government and added that for the last three years, the legislators area development funds was not provide.
The chief minister is not extending cooperation for anything and this government lost its qualities to rule, he charged. Narayanasamy will never accept his ‘ineficency” and will put the blame on some others,Rangasamy said adding that he is even blaming the opposition of not functioning. Puducherry is in a bad shape and Narayanasamy failed to fulfil any of the promises given,he said.
To a question whether he will claim to form the government,Rangasamy said “let them resign first “.
Leaders and functionaries of the N R Congress, AIADMK and BJP partook in the meeting.
