Rane will reply online to Nashik police in insulting remarks case

Nashik, Sep 14 (UNI) Nashik City police has registered a case against Union Minister Narayan Rane for allegedly making insulting remarks against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray Police has registered an FIR against Rane. Rane has informed the Nashik police that he will file, an online reply on September 25.
Nashik Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey said he has strictly followed the legal process in this regard.
Earlier the Ratnagiri police had arrested Rane in a case for alleged insulting remarks.
A Nashik police squad had gone to take Rane into custody but could not to show. Following this the Nashik police issued a notice to him.
Rane was supposed to appear before the Nashik police on September 2. But the High Court ordered that no coercive action should be taken against this September 17.
On August 24, during the BJP Jan Ashirwad Yatra, Rane had made certain remarks against the allegedly Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Nashik city cyber police had registered a case against Rane, After Shiv Sena corporator Sudhakar Badgujar lodged a complaint against the Union Minister
While granting bail to Rane in the case, the High Court has directed the state government not to take any action against him till September 17. Keeping in view the order, Nashik Police has decided to take Rane’s reply online on September 25. Rane lawyers had got extension of the date citing Ganeshotsav. Nashik police decided talk to Rane’s counsel to get an online reply.
