Amit Shah: Akhilesh made UP number one in crime
Ballia (UP), Feb 27 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday praised the diplomatic acumen of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Ukraine issue and said that prestige of India has increased on international forums. Addressing a public meeting in Baria assembly constituency, he said that before 2014 India’s voice was not being heard on the world forums, whereas today when PM Modi speaks on international forums then the world listens to his every statement seriously. Training guns at Samajwadi Party (SP), Rajnath said that a true socialist is one who rids the people of fear and hunger. “In this sense, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a true socialist,” he said. He said that during SP regime terrorists attacked CRPF camp in Rampur and the government started withdrawing cases against terrorists and criminals. “Government is not run like this,” he said. Rajnath said, “Now a triple engine government will be in UP. Modi’s vision, Yogi’s mission and the people’s participation.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah attacked Samajwadi Party (SP) president and said that he had made Uttar Pradesh number one in dacoity, loot, murder and rape cases. Addressing election rallies, Shah said, “Akhilesh made UP number one in several things. UP was number one in dacoity, number one in loot, number one in murder and number one in rape cases. There is a goggle of casteism, dynasty politics and appeasement in the eyes of Akhilesh. From one glass he sees only one caste and one family and from the other only one religion. When Akhilesh could not see the people of UP, how would he develop the state?” he said. Shah alleged that during his regime Akhilesh gave protection to terrorists, mafias and criminals. “He committed the sin of pardoning the terrorists by withdrawing cases against the accused of a number of blasts in UP,” he said.
