Rajasthan: Petrol price reduced by Rs 4 per litre and diesel by Rs 5 per litre

Jaipur, Nov 16 (UNI) Rajasthan government on Tuesday announced that it has decided to reduce the VAT on petrol and diesel by Rs 4 and Rs 5 per litre respectively.
In the meeting of the Rajasthan cabinet held this evening, it was unanimously decided to reduce the rates of petrol and diesel.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted that after the cabinet meeting, there will be a reduction of Rs 4 per liter in the price of petrol and Rs 5 per liter for diesel from 12 pm tonight.
He said that due to this decision, the state government will suffer annual revenue loss of Rs 3,500 crores.
