Mumbai, May 1: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray’s convoy met with an accident while on the way from Pune to Aurangabad. Seven to eight vehicles are reported to be damaged due to collision but no one was injured. According to the details available the bonnet of the car of actor Kedar Shinde and Ankush Chaudhary who were also in the covey was damaged.
Raj Thakrey is scheduled to address a ‘maha-rally in Aurangabad’ on Sunday, May 01. Although permission for the rally has been given by district administration with many restrictions and conditions, lakhs of his party workers and followers are likely to gather here to hear the firebrand nephew of Balasaheb Thakrey. He has taken a string stand against appeasement of Muslims by MVA in Maharashtra, use of loud speakers and stone pelting on Hanuman Janmotsav processions (UNI)
