Rahul Gandhi visits ailing Manmohan Singh at AIIMS
Former PM (89) was admitted to AIIMS on Wednesday due to fever and low blood count

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited former prime minister Manmohan Singh at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was admitted on Wednesday.
The Congress leader visited the ailing former prime minister and also met his wife Gursharan Kaur. Gandhi wished Singh a speedy recovery.
89-year-old Congress stalwart was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening for routine check-ups as he complained of weakness and fever persistent since past few days.
Hospital sources said Singh’s blood platelet count has been detected lower than normal and the symptoms are similar to Dengue. However, no official confirmation has come from the hospital so far.
Earlier this year in April, Singh was admitted to AIIMS after he contracted Covid infection.
