Raghav Chadha gets Central security after Punjab withdraws Z+ cover

New Delhi: AAP MP Raghav Chadha has been provided security by central agencies after the Punjab government withdrew his Z+ category protection.

As reported by India Today, for now, the Delhi Police has been directed to extend immediate security cover to Chadha until a formal central security arrangement is put in place. The security will be extended in both Delhi and Punjab, with paramilitary forces assigned for his protection.

The development has drawn attention due to its timing amid ongoing political friction within the Aam Aadmi Party.

Chadha has recently faced criticism from within his own party over his performance in Parliament. Senior leaders, including Harpal Singh Cheema, Aman Arora and Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, questioned his failure to raise key Punjab-related issues, describing his inaction as disappointing.
