Punjab to Overcome Government Bus Shortage Soon..

Punjab : government is set to tackle the shortage of government buses by hiring private buses under the Kilometer Scheme. In a recent assembly session, Punjab Transport Minister addressed concerns regarding the lack of public transportation and assured that the government is taking significant steps to enhance the availability of buses for commuters. He stated that the government is planning to bring more buses on the roads by hiring them under the Kilometer Scheme, ensuring better public transport services across the state.

The issue of bus shortages has been a persistent concern, especially in rural areas where people rely heavily on government transport. The opposition raised questions about the lack of government buses, citing inconvenience for passengers and overcrowding in the existing fleet.
