Punjab: 183 DSPs among 273 cops shifted

Chandigarh;  The police today reshuffled 273 officials, including 183 DSPs, while taking away additional charge of Director, Mining, from Special Director General of Police (DGP), Internal Security, RN Dhoke.

No officer has been given the Director, Mining, charge till the filing of this report.

Saumya Mishra was posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ferozepur, while Gagan Ajit Singh is first SSP of newly formed Sadak Surakhya Force. J. Elanchezhian is DIG-Counter Intelligence, Mandeep Singh Sidhu is DIG-IRB, Patiala while Alka Meena is DIG, Personnel.

AIG Harmandeep Singh Hans, Joint Director, Vigilance Bureau, Rupinder Singh is SSP, Economic Offences Wing, Vigilance Bureau, while Gursewak Singh is SSP Vigilance Bureau, Amritsar.

The remaining postings pertained to Reserve Battalions and various Commissionerate and police districts.
