Pt Sukh Ram’s grandson quits Yuva Rojgar Yatra panel

Shimla: Grandson of Congress leader Pt Sukh Ram and Former Cong candidate of Mandi parliamentary constituency Aashray Sharma quit Yuva Rojgar Yatra panel Sunday.
Sharma who is son of the BJP MLA Anil Sharma has sent resignation to AICC president Sonia Gandhi, displaying outrage for constant interference in Mandi district by a leader from Shimla.
Himachal Pradesh Congress co in-charge Sanjay Dutt had deliberated the responsibilities to many young leaders in their respective districts. He added that to organize the Yatra various plans were being made by him and his team. However, leaders from Shimla who do not have direct concern with Mandi district, are constantly trying to interfere, thus putting roadblocks in the plans.
“It is not acceptable” he said citing the reason for taking such a step. Mr Sharma has also sent the copy of resignation to chairperson of Yuva Rojgar Yatra committee and president of HPCC Pratibha Singh, Mukesh Agnihotri and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. This resignation of Aashray Sharma has once again exposed the ongoing tussle between the Congress leaders in the state. (UNI)
