PRS Delhi team travels to north India’s famous Tiger Reserve, Sariska

Sariska/Delhi: A jigyasu (curious) group of PR professionals from Delhi NCR went on leisure safari-cum-astronomy study tour to Rajasthan’s famous Tiger Reserve, Sariska, last weekend. The group comprised of veterans G.S. Bawa, SS Rao, Rajeev Kakkar and media professionals Dinesh Kumar, Jitendra Bakshi and myself from fast emerging digital media.

Mr. Rao, the President of PRS Delhi (CGM, Maharatna PFC) was the main motivator on the spot, full of Josh and Rythm. The younger team comprising of Mr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Shubam Saurav Singh and young ladies Priyadarshini, Bindu, Pallavi, Mrs. Suneja, Prerna added zing to the musical evening.

The arid forest reserve, about 200 Km from national capital Delhi, is a famous habitat of wildlife besides the fierce Bengal tigers, other wild animals like leopard, Hyena, Caracal, Jungle cat, Ratel, Nilgai, Sambar deer, spotted deer, langur, Rhesus macaque, Four-horned antelope, Wild pig, Indian civet, Rufous hare are found here. Many birds viz., Red Jungle Fowl, Spur Fowls, White Breasted Kingfishers, Golden Backed Woodpeckers, Great Indian Horned Owls, Quails, Partridges, Sandgrouse, Tree Pies, Crested Serpent Eagles, Parakeets, Drongos, Sunbirds and Vultures can be spotted in the forest during mornings and evenings.

The resort had footprints of astronomy with a powerful telescope for skygazing, taking imagination beyond stars and galaxies across the clear blue sky. The location was earlier visited by our legendary missileman former President Abul Kalam Azad and his teams for conducting their experiments on space and missile research.                       (photo features credits– GS Bawa ji and Narsingram Jat)
