Priyanka: Women if get united, can change the politics

Rae Bareli, Dec 19: Congress general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday said that if women get united and decide that they will change the politics of the country then politics of women self-esteem and honor will change definitely.
As a part of ‘Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon’ Shakti Samvad women empowerment mega campaign organized at Reform Club here, Priyanka interacted with women working in different sectors and college going girls.
She said that women should say that work for us of we will not vote in your favour. She said that for the first time we prepared a separate manifesto for women. The result is the Prime Minister is calling a program of women. Other parties are also making announcements for women. In am very happy that due to a small initiative all the parties have started thinking about women.
Priyanka said that she have see that from Unnao to Hathras girls are fighting bravely. Atrocities are being committed against women every where in the state and the cases are lodged against the victims. This is wrong and we need to change it. We will bring the change unitedly. We will make the society understand that women want equal rights, they cannot be ignored.
She said that party has promised of proving 20 lakh jobs after forming the government of which eight lakh would be given to women. Loan at lower interest rate would be provided to women self help groups. Tax rebate would be given to institutions employing 50 per cent women.
