Meanwhile, Delhi Police on Monday issued guidelines for visitors, who will be attending the Republic Day celebrations. Police has advised them to follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviours and security norms. Delhi police tweeted that seating blocks will open for visitors at 7 am, and that the visitors were requested to arrive accordingly. Police said it was necessary to have both doses of vaccine against Novel Coronavirus and they need to bring the vaccination Certificate. It further mentioned that children below 15 years were not allowed in the function. Police said the visitors have been advised to use carpooling or taxis as the parking was limited. Visitors were requested to carry a valid ID card. There would be provision for depositing remote-controlled car lock keys in each parking area.
