PM Modi visits Radhasoami Dera Beas; may impact elections
Amritsar/Beas: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Radha Soami Satsang at Beas in Amritsar and met its chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon. PM Narendra Modi, who had been visiting Dera Beas in his earlier days as RSS worker, spent an hour at the Dera Beas. His visit to a popular religious place which has lacs of followers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and J&K, is likely to impact voters’ sympathy towards BJP in the forthcoming elections.
Modi had earlier met the Dera Chief GS Dhillon in Delhi in February and discussed religious and social issues with him.
Modi also spent some time in the Dera community kitchen where women followers were making chapatis and chopping vegetables, the Dera officials said.
