Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Haryana on April 14, 2025, to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several key development projects, as announced by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. This visit marks a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure growth and economic development.

One of the major highlights of PM Modi’s visit will be the inauguration of air services from Maharaja Agrasen International Airport in Hisar. This airport is expected to boost connectivity and regional air travel, playing a crucial role in Haryana’s aviation sector.

In addition to this, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for an 800 MW unit at the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar. This power plant expansion, costing over ₹7,000 crore, is aimed at improving Haryana’s power generation capacity and addressing the increasing energy demands of the state.

The visit is also significant as it coincides with the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a key figure in India’s constitutional history. A state-level event will be held to commemorate this occasion, highlighting the government’s commitment to social justice and equality.

Ahead of the visit, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has been actively reviewing the progress of ongoing projects. He recently conducted an inspection at Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport to ensure that all preparations are in place for the Prime Minister’s arrival.

With these ambitious projects, the government aims to enhance Haryana’s infrastructure, improve economic growth, and strengthen the state’s position as a key player in India’s development journey.
