Hamirpur (Himachal), April 5: The organization is run by office workers and schedules. In Himachal Pradesh, Hamirpur district BJP had first purchased land to build a new office and now a big office of the district BJP will be ready at the new spacious place. This was stated by former HP Chief Minister and senior Senior BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal, while addressing the workers present after performing Bhoomipujan of the new office to be built near Bypass Chowk through Hamirpur on Tuesday. Dhumal said that the BJP was the party of workers. Workers were the real backbone of any organization and no party could survive without the active support of the workers. He said that earlier also Hamirpur was the only district in the entire state which had its own district office building. He said that a few years back Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation stone of this new office, now its construction work was going to start. MLA Narendra Thakur, MLA Kamlesh Kumari, former MLA and HRTC Vice Chairman Vijay Agnihotri were specially present on this occasion. On the occasion the former Chief Minister got emotional and said that this new office to be built was like a temple for the party workers who considered the party as their mother. He said, “The party respects every one of its workers and called upon them to show interest in the construction work of this office to be made by the party and keep giving their valuable suggestions regarding the construction of the office”. Many senior and old workers of the party were present on this occasion. Ajay Puri, senior businessman of Hamirpur city, who provided the proposed land of the district office, former district president Pyare Lal Sharma, former district president Anil Thakur, current district president Baldev Sharma, APMC chairman Ajay Sharma and Treasurer Tej Prakash Chopra, along with other workers also participated in the function.(UNI)-(pics credit The Tribune)
