Mumbai :- Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-awaited romantic-comedy “Param Sundari” finally hit the theatres on Friday. On its opening day, the film managed to earn ₹5.76 crore at the domestic box office.
Day 1 Collection and Occupancy
According to Sacnilk, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 10.64%.
Morning shows: 8.19%
Afternoon shows: 11.45%
Evening shows: 12.27%
The collection is significantly lower compared to last month’s release “Saiyaara”, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, which opened with ₹21.5 crore on Day 1—nearly four times higher than “Param Sundari.”
Story and Cast
“Param Sundari” portrays a cross-cultural romance between two leads—one from Delhi and the other from Kerala. The film marks the first on-screen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. It also features Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles.
The songs of the film, especially “Pardesiya”, created strong buzz before release. Now, all eyes are on how the movie performs over the weekend.
