A major fire broke out in a warehouse located in the Saraswati Enclave area of Gurugram’s industrial sector late Tuesday night. The blaze quickly spread across the facility, engulfing large portions of the warehouse before authorities could intervene. Witnesses reported seeing thick black smoke rising into the night sky as flames raged uncontrollably.

Upon receiving an emergency call at approximately 11:39 PM, fire department teams from Gurugram, Nuh, and Jhajjar were immediately dispatched to the location. More than 20 fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames. Firefighters battled for several hours before finally bringing the situation under control. Due to the intensity of the fire, nearby areas were also put on alert, and authorities ensured that the blaze did not spread to adjacent buildings.

According to officials, no casualties have been reported so far. However, the warehouse owners have suffered significant financial losses, as the stored goods and infrastructure were severely damaged. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the reason behind the incident.

Local residents and workers in the area expressed concern over the safety measures in place in such industrial setups. Some of them mentioned that the warehouse lacked proper fire safety protocols, which might have contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. The incident has once again highlighted the need for stringent fire safety regulations and enforcement in industrial zones.

Police officials and forensic teams have begun their analysis of the scene, collecting evidence to ascertain whether the fire was accidental or caused by negligence. Further reports are expected in the coming days. Meanwhile, authorities have urged businesses in the vicinity to reevaluate their fire safety preparedness to prevent such incidents in the future.

This fire incident in Gurugram adds to the growing concerns about industrial safety and the need for improved firefighting infrastructure in rapidly developing urban areas. Fire department officials have assured the public that they are taking necessary steps to ensure better response times and preparedness for similar emergencies.
