Nothing above ‘Rashtra’: Mohan Bhagwat
Jammu, Oct 2 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday said that nothing is above ‘Rashtra’ (nation) and one should work selflessly for the nation.
“Our culture is our nation. How we behave in society is a matter of concern and it is our self behavior through which we can protect and develop our country,” Dr Bhagwat said while addressing a seminar here this evening at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium at University of Jammu.
The RSS Chief is on four-day visit to Jammu and will leave on Sunday.
“India is a very diverse nation, and nobody has ever snatched the indigenous culture of places having a cosmopolitan culture,” he said and added, “instead of becoming a superpower, we should behave in a manner that the world follows our culture. People of many ideologies and diversity live in India but unity among Indians never changes.”
This was the maiden visit of RSS Chief post revocation of Article 370.
“The revocation of Article 370 indicates that there is a change in the system,” he said, adding that mere changes are not enough but people need to change ideologies and mindset.
“It has been our dream to see the abrogation of Article 370 since the days of Jan Sangh,” said Dr Bhagwat.
“All eyes of Global masters are on India because we have unity in diversity,” he expressed and said that “our religion is to have a soulful vision and give happiness to the entire world.”
