Nepali Congress delegation meets EAM Jaishankar, BJP chief Nadda
New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) A three-member Nepali Congress delegation on Friday met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and also BJP president JP Nadda.
Jaishankar tweeted on the meeting: “Pleased to welcome Nepali Congress delegation visiting India at the invitation of @BJP4India
“Appreciate the discussion with Shri Prakash Mahatji and delegation.”
Prakash S. Mahat, former Nepal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Joint General Secretary, Nepali Congress Party, in a tweet said: “At the invitation of BJP, a delegation of Nepali Congress under my leadership is in New Delhi.
“Met BJP president JP Nadda and had good discussion on expanding exchanges and sharing good practices between two parties.
“Also discussed issues of importance to Nepal and India.”
The delegation also includes Udaya Shumsher Rana and Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya.
The delegation is visiting India at the invitation of Vijay Chauthaiwale, the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department head.
