Nawab Malik renews allegations against Sameer Wankhade of NCB
Mumbai Jan 2: NCP spokesperson and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik tendered an unconditional apology to Bombay High Court for commenting on NCB official Sameer Wankhede, on Sunday.
Mr Malik tendered the apology while at the same time making new allegations against Sameer Wankhede, other NCB officers and a top BJP leader from Maharashtra.
Malik was addressing the media persons while alleging that NCB is getting panchnama made in cases changed on a backdate.
On this occasion he also provided an audio clip of an alleged conversation between an NCB officer and a witness.
Malik has also alleged that a top BJP leader is lobbying in the central home ministry to give an extension to NCB officer Sameer Wankhede.
He also said that recently NCB moved the Bombay High Court seeking cancellation of the bail granted
to his son-in-law Sameer Khan who is accused in a different drug case but no drugs were found from his possession.
Malik further said that to build pressure on him such plea was moved and no other application for the cancellation of the bail for other accused in the same case has been made.
Why my son in law was singled out Malik questioned and added that they will contest the matter in the High Court.
