Navjot Sidhu takes back his resignation as PCC chief

Chandigarh, Nov 5 (UNI) Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu took back his resignation on Friday.

Sidhu gave this information while addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club here today. But he also added a condition that on the day the new Advocate General of the state is appointed, he will go to the state Congress headquarters and take care of his business.

It is believed that Sidhu has withdrawn his resignation from the post of state president under the pressure of the high command.

There were possibilities that if Sidhu does not withdraw his resignation, the high command would explore his option in view of the assembly elections in the state in the near future.
On realizing this, Sidhu has announced to withdraw his resignation immediately.
