Nadda Congratulated Bengal voters hoping ‘Asol Poribartan’
2021 election is unprecedented & unique on its own way
Kolkata, Apr 26 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National president Jagat Prakah Nadda
on Monday said the 2021 West Bengal’s assembly elections upto 7th phase was unprecedented
and unique on its own way and thanked the people for their positivity to vote in favour of saffron
brigade despite ” provocation” from ruling TMC headed by Mamata Banerjee.
” The people of the state have already made the BJP winners in the 6th phase polling and the
7th and 8th voting is to realise the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Asol Poriborton
and restoration of Sonar Bangla,” Mr Nadda said in a media conference.
He also hoped the remaining 7.5 lakh voters would also bless BJP in the eight phase poll for
35 seats on April 29.
Mr Nadda said the 7th phase polling was over and the campaign for 8th phase was ended
today, even as the people have shown their huge maturity for a positivity despite continuous provocation from TMC headed by chief minster Mamata Banerjee.
” We salute the people of West Bengal with folded hands for their blessing towards BJP,”
Mr Nadda said while also congratulating the party leaders and workers for their ” patient and
resilience” not to fall into the instigation and provocation.
Slamming TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, Mr Nadda said he has not seen a chief minister
can stoop so low in the electioneering asking a section of people to united not to divide their
vote bank. Besides, using abusing languages against the PM and Home Minster Amit Shah, Mr Nadda
said even Ms Banerjee was ready to take out procession with dead bodies of Sitalkuchi and
directed her supporters to gherao the central forces on election duty.
” I have not seen so far that a chief minster was barred from electioneering for 24 hours for
her comments,” Mr Nadda said and adding from the chief executive of a state it was very
unfortunate.
” She is not only appeasing a section of community for her vested interest, Ms Banerjee also fomenting the divisive forces,” Mr Nadda alleged.
Answering questions Mr Nadda asked if the chief minister was really proactive to arrest covid
and if she then why Ms Banerjee did not attend the PM called meeting this week.
Mr Nadda also asked the chief minister’s attempts to keep the central teams house arrest while
they came to study covid situation in the state last year.
Mr Nadda also assured that all the commitment of BJP to be fulfilled for Bengal with a financial
hub in the city of Kolkata and extension of Ayushman Bharat of Rs 5 lakh health insurance for poor people. Rs 18000 to the farmers and additional Rs 4000 and other promises to
be fulfilled after the BJP formed the government after May 2.
Earlier in the day during an electioneering Mr Nadda said Ms Banerjee was misleading people on vaccination issue. Ms Banerjee has made all efforts to mislead the people of Bengal and to instigate them using
issues like insider-outsiders, added Mr Nadda.
