MP Swati Maliwal faces defamation case in Punjab

Moga : A defamation case has been filed in a court in Moga against Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal over her alleged remarks against Punjab MLAs. According to reports, Amandeep Kaur filed the case after Maliwal allegedly referred to Punjab legislators as “sheep and goats” during a political statement. The matter is scheduled to come up for hearing in the Moga court on May 19, 2026.
