Oval (London): India’s ace quickie Mohammed Siraj snatched a victory out of a lost match on the 5th day of 5th Test in Oval (England). England team needing just 35 runs on the last day and visitors India needing 4 wickets, the game was heavi;y tilted towards the host team England. But Shubman Gill led India rose to the occasion with very tight bowing and traumatising English batsmen with bumpers, swing and frequesnt changes in their attack..
India sent only two pacers today, Mohd. Siraj and Prasidh Krishna to finish the match on day 5 and they succeded in defending the trust of captain Gill. Mohd. Siraj scalped 5 wickets with 104 runs in 30.1 overs and Krishna had 4 giving away 126 runs in 27 overs.
Earlier India opener Yashaswi Jaiswal had scored 118 runs and night watchman Akashdeep scored 66, his first Test half century in Tests. England had 374 to win the match having most part of the 4th and full 5th day.
