Many hidden talented players will emerge from Khel Mahakumbh: Prof. Dhumal

Hamirpur (HP): Many talented players would emerge from the ongoing Sansad Khel Mahakumbh. This was stated by former HP Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, PK Dhumal during the opening of the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh for the Sujanpur assembly segment of the district.

urated by Indu Goswami, the Member of Parliament at Sujanpur on Sunday.
Speaking on occasion, Dhumal said that apart from MP Khel Mahakumbh, Anurag Singh Thakur has emerged as an example for other MPs of the country today due to MP Mobile Health Service, Medhavi Vidyarthi Tour Scheme, and many other special schemes.
Dhumal said that this time more than one lakh children, youth, and other players of the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency were joining the Khel Mahakumbh. He expressed hope that many such talented players will emerge from the Mahakumbh who will bring laurels to the country and the state at the national and international level in the coming times.
While inaugurating the function, Indu Goswami said that the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh started by Union Information and Broadcasting, Youth Services, and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur would bring more budding players into the limelight.
She said that Anurag Singh Thakur has kept a different vision towards sports in the country and an event like Sansad Khel Mahakumbh started by him was becoming popular all over the country. “He is making serious efforts to improve the condition of sports in the country and he has awakened the parliamentarians across the country”.
She said that during the Corona period, every person has realized their importance very well and a provision of about Rs 2400 crore has been made in the Fit India campaign.
Under this, about 453 Khelo India Centers were being sanctioned for 359 districts of the country. Many talented players have emerged in the school games organized under the Khelo India campaign and the central government is making special arrangements for their training.
