Maharashtra Aghadi constituents to contest elections together-Bhujbal

Nashik, Dec 19 (UNI) Until the distribution of seats in the Mahavikas Aghadi, every constituent party of the Aghadi will continue to expand its party organizationally, said Chhagan Bhujbal, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, on Saturday.
Speaking after a review meeting at the collectorate here, he said, there is a period for municipal elections, therefore, in the meantime, each party of the Mahavikas Aghadi will be able to expand its organization and so various parties are currently engaged in party expansion.
Senior leaders have already decided that all the constituent parties of the Mahavikas Aghadi will contest the upcoming elections together, he said. At the local level, however, the three parties will play a united role only after the distribution of seats is finalized.
He said that if there is any problem in allotment of seats in the municipal elections, the senior leaders of the party will also discuss among themselves in case of any difficulty in allotment of seats.
The three parties have the option of coming together once the election results are declared, he said.
There is a large number of dissidents from various parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party, the NCP leader said.
There will be a formula to admit them, he said and added that seniors will discuss and decide.
