Maha: ‘Missing’ Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh returns from Surat

Akola/Nagpur: ‘Missing’ Shiv Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh on Wednesday claimed that some people forcibly took him to a hospital and he was administered injections, saying he suffered a heart attack.
Nitin Deshmukh, who represents the Balapur assembly seat in the Akola district of Maharashtra, on Wednesday claimed that some people had forcibly admitted him to a hospital and he was administered.
However, he somehow managed to escape from the hospital and returned safely to Maharashtra from Surat, he claimed.
“I was taken to a hospital in Surat by some people on Tuesday, saying I had suffered a heart attack but I never suffered any heart attack. I am in good health. Even my blood pressure (BP) was normal. But they forcibly gave me some injections. Their intention was not good,” Deshmukh claimed. Nitin Deshmukh spoke to media persons at Dr Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur.
His wife Pranjali Deshmukh had filed a complaint at the Civil Lines police station in Akola, stating that her husband had not been reachable since Monday night and asked the police to find him soon.

Meanwhile, Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath on Wednesday asserted that all the party MLAs from Maharashtra are united and will continue their support to the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state.
