PARIS: Actor R Madhavan was in awe of French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s banquet dinner at Louvre Museum on Sunday, where they “passionately described their vision for the future of these two great friendly nations.”

Macron and Brigitte Macron hosted a banquet for Modi at the famed museum on Friday.

The Indian prime minister, who came on Thursday for a two-day visit, attended the Bastille Day parade as the guest of honour.

Madhavan thanked Macron and Modi for “the incredible lesson on grace and humility” on Instagram.

“The zeal and determination to do good for the Indo-French friendship and the people of both nations was evident and intense during the Bastille day celebration in Paris on July 14, 2023. I was in wonder at the Louvre dinner organised by President Emmanuel Macron in honour of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, as both world leaders passionately shared their vision for the future of these two great friendly nations. Positive energy and mutual regard were like a loving embrace.”May France and India forever prosper together,” the actor-filmmaker posted beside banquet supper photos.

Madhavan shared a dinner photo with PM Modi on Instagram and wrote a lengthy statement praising both regimes.

I hope their vision and ambitions come true for us at the right time. “President Macron eagerly took a selfie for us while our Honourable Prime Minister very graciously and sweetly stood up to be part of it…a moment that will forever etch in my mind for both the uniqueness and impact of that picture,” the 53-year-old wrote.

The actor who directed “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” also congratulated ISRO on Chandrayaan-3’s achievement.

Chandrayaan-3, launched Friday, is the second mission to softly land on the moon.

India would become the fourth nation to land on the moon if it succeeds.
