Leaders of Delhi did not even send condolence messages for martyrs : SP Malik
Jaipur Nov 7 (UNI) Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has once again targeted the central government for not being able to address the concerns of the farmers that were raised during the farmer movement and not even sending condolence messages to the families of those farmers who died during the movement.
He said “till date such a big movement has not taken place. So far 600 people have been martyred in the farmers’ movement. Our 600 farmers have been martyred till now, no leader spoke on them.”
He went on to say that when five to seven people died due to fire in the hospital in Maharashtra, condolence messages were sent from Delhi but none for those who died during the movement. Mr Malik said “I was hurt when our parliament did not pass condolences resolution on the death of farmers”. He was speaking at the program of Teja Foundation at Birla Auditorium here in this city.
He added “Today no minister can enter the villages of Haryana-West UP, even Chief Minister cannot land a helicopter in every village.” He questioned the use of ruling in Delhi like this?
