Mysuru, Sep 1 (UNI) Lashing out at BJP general secretary Arun Singh describing Janata Dal (Secular) as a ‘sinking ship’, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on Wednesday said BJP ministers and MPs have no guts to talk to their central leaders.
Speaking to newsmen here he said ‘Why is arun singh talking bout building the bjp in karnataka? On the contrary , he should be telling his leader about karnataka’s problems , state bjp incharge is doing what is not expected of him.
He also questioned why did the bjp leaders talk out MLA SA RA Mahesh for support during the Mayor polls?arun singh doesn’t know the ground realities in the tte. He keeps coming to karnataka to collect ‘haftha’ he should not talk ill of any party’
He said JD-S is a well established party in karnataka and no one can dislodge it .
On MLA G T deve gowd quitting JD-S, he said I keep reading about his quitting our party in newspapers . In 2008, he wanted tok join bjp. I am busy strengthening the party I have no time to see what Deve gowda does. I have ot told him to leave the party . our door are open to all those believe in our principles , he added
Further , he said ‘ we are preparing a blueprint for winning 123 seats in the 2023 Assembly elections. I had not ventured out because of covid restrictions . I have been in touch with my workers virtually and first list of candidates is ready , he said
He said Over 100 potential candidates will be invited to a two-day workshop at his Bidadi farmhouse on September 28
On the Mekedatu project – he said ‘we are only using extra water for drinking purposes. This should be made clear to the centre and Tamilnadu and the project should go on .
On the ganesha festival issue, he said there should not be any restrictions , when politicians can hold public meetings, why Ganesha festival, he questioned?
