Kabul blasts reinforce need for world to stand unitedly against terror
New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) India on Thursday strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Kabul and said the attacks reinforce the need for the world to stand unitedly against terrorism and all those who provide sanctuaries to terrorists.
An official statement said: “India strongly condemns the bomb blasts in Kabul today..”
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist attack. Our thoughts and prayers also go out to the injured.
Today’s attacks reinforce the need for the world to stand unitedly against terrorism and all those who provide sanctuaries to terrorists,” the statement added.
Twin suicide bombings ripped through thronging crowds outside Kabul airport, killing at least 60 persons and wounding over 100 on Thursday. An number of US Marines were among the casualties.
