J&K admin notifies transfer of 1756 posts to Ladakh UT

Jammu, Nov 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday notified the transfer of over 1756 posts of Jammu and Kashmir to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
As per the order issued, 221 gazetted and 1535 non-gazetted posts have been notified to transfer them to the UT of Ladakh.
The order comes almost a year after the apportionment of Assets, Liabilities and Posts of the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir between the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh were notified.
The departments, whose gazetted posts have been transferred to UT Ladakh include Forest, Home, Prosecution, Archives Archaeology and Museum, Health and Medical Education, Drug and Food Control, Constituent Colleges, School Education, Finance, Technical Education Sector, Law, State Legal Service Authority, Planning, Fisheries, Animal/Sheep Husbandry, Jal Shakti, Public Works (R&B), Power Department.
