Israel-Palestine Truce: Donald Trump’s first Nobel Standards Peace Deal!
Truce sans Tariiffs, must qualify for future Noble Peace Prize!
Though this West Asia truce has been vouched by some 20 Arab Muslims neighbors, whether the peace agreement survives for longer period is a million Dollar question!
With signing of truce deal between Israel and Hamas under Prez Trump’s supervision Monday evening, West Asia appears to be moving towards a lasting peace in the centuries old struggle and search for a permanent and peaceful homeland much abbetted Jews. With the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, Jews had got a piece of land (presently 88,000 sqkm area) to
be called Israel, their homeland, yet the belligerant Arab Muslim neighbors never accepted it and kept attacking during the last eight decades. Yet with active support from the US, Europe and other peace loving nations of the world, it survived all attacks bravely.
The current bloodshed in the region had its origin on October 07, 2023, with Hamas led terrorists (about 7,000 in guerrilla warfare across Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) digging a secret tunnel into Israel and taking over 250 hostages, mostly civilian Israelis, women, children, a Nepali student and a Thai visitor . About 1200 civilians were killed in the surprise attack, resulting in a massive response by Israel under PM Benzamin Netanyahu. It is believed over 67,000 lives have been lost during this two-year old conflict, mostly from Hamas, Palestine and Syrian territories. Alas, the deal has brought back only 20 alive hostages for Israeli families, and about 2000 Palestine POWs (prisoners of war).
Prez Trump delivers a Truce: With return of Donald Trump as President of America early this year and his loud vows to bring peace in several conflict ridden zones around the Globe, viz., Russia-Ukraine 3 year old war, Israel-Palestine-Hamas conflict, Iran-Israel hostilities, Armenia-Azerbaizan and India Vs Pakistan zihad campaign post Partition of 1947, China-Taiwan- Pacific conflicts for South China Sea Trade hegemony; the peace loving majority citizens world over craved to see the end of year 2025 in relief from conflicts and economic turmoils. West asia has seen centuries of blood-shed amongst Jews and Arab muslims, a running battle since installation of Israeli nation in Jerussalem in 1948 post WW-II, if this peace deal survives longer is an unpredictable riddle. Would Hamas, the fighting arm of Palestine, funded by Iran, Syria, Turkiye and other anti-Israel countries, sit idle for long, allowing Israel to to stay in Jerussalem for ever? Both Jews and Arab muslims consider Jerusalem as their sacred place of King David and Abraham while muslims consider Al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount as their holy place from where Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven (the Jannet) after death in 632 AD. The Christians also believe their founder Jesus Christ was crucified in the City of Jerusalem
. So the believers of all three faiths have been in constant conflict for over 14 centuries or more to gain control of the city and enforce their holy edicts.
Truce sans Tariffs: Although US Prez Donald Trump has been the main motivator and has forced Israel-Palestine-Hamas to ink the ceasefire agreement Monday, the Oct. 13, there has been no Tariff Factor visible in the negotiations or enforcement of the truce amongst Israel, Palestine, Hamas or their signatory associates.
Prez Trump has declared many a time that he will use the Tariffs, as his powerful stick to bring warring nations to sign peace agreements. He has been enforcing 30% to 200% or more Tariffs upon those countries who didn’t follow his dictats for ending wars; in fact the enhanced Tariffs on Imports into the US has been resulting in his countrymen paying more for their daily use consumables, medicines and computing hardwares. The main target nations of Tariff tectics; India, China, Phillipines, Japan etc. have lost some immediate export revenues and are forced to explore other smaller markets for their shipments.
