BJP leaders allege Pakistan misuses nuclear status amid economic collapse.

Algiers : In a sharp and serious accusation, BJP National Vice President Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda alleged that Pakistan has dangerously misused its nuclear power not for defense, but to protect and support terrorists. Speaking from Algiers, Panda said that global powers must take this behavior seriously, as it threatens international peace and security.

He claimed that Pakistan has repeatedly taken advantage of its nuclear capabilities to avoid consequences for harboring and aiding terrorist elements within and beyond its borders. This misuse, Panda added, is not just unethical but a grave risk for regional stability. The statements have ignited a renewed debate about Pakistan’s nuclear accountability on global forums.

Adding fuel to the fire, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also launched a fierce attack on Pakistan, highlighting the country’s crumbling economy. Dubey stated that since the 1980s, Pakistan has been allocating 20-25% of its annual budget to the defense sector, while neglecting basic economic reforms. He warned that Pakistan’s financial situation is so dire that it is heading toward becoming the next Somalia or Sudan. According to him, 80% of Pakistan’s economy runs on debt, making it an unsustainable and volatile state.

The timing of these statements is crucial, coming at a time when South Asia remains on edge due to ongoing border tensions and regional instability. India has long accused Pakistan of supporting cross-border terrorism, and these remarks only strengthen New Delhi’s global campaign to isolate Pakistan diplomatically on the terrorism front.

These bold claims by Indian lawmakers are likely to create strong ripples in international diplomatic circles. Many analysts believe that India is attempting to build a stronger global case against Pakistan’s double standards—being a declared nuclear state on one hand and a terror haven on the other. As these statements circulate, social media is abuzz with reactions, with many calling for global sanctions or strict scrutiny against Pakistan’s military and intelligence institutions. The world will be watching how Islamabad responds to these powerful allegations in the days to come.
