Inviting leaders of only four opp parties unfortunate : Kharge

New Delhi, Dec 19: In a reply to Minister of Parliamentary affairs Sri Prahlad Joshi’s letter inviting leaders of four opposition parties for talks on Monday, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter in reply and said that leaders of all opposition parties should have been invited.

Earlier Minister Joshi had written a letter to Kharge inviting leaders of four opposition parties whose members had been suspended to a meeting that will be convened by Leader of the house Sri Piyush Goyal, the meeting is scheduled to be held at 10:00 AM on Monday.
In his reply Kharge wrote “All opposition parties are united in the protest against the suspension of 12 MPs. We have been requesting from evening of November 29th itself that either the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. This reasonable request of ours has not been agreed to, further inviting only leaders of four opposition parties instead of inviting leaders of all opposition parties is unfair and unfortunate”.
