Insurance Co’s, pvt hospitals should address complaints regarding cashless treatment of Covid patients: Sushil

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Former Bihar Deputy CM and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday requested the insurance companies and private hospitals to resolve the complaints of coronavirus patients for not getting cashless treatments.
Through his tweet Mr Modi said that on one hand centre and state governments as well as various social organizations and industrial houses were fighting against the pandemic whereas some private hospitals and health insurance companies were creating hurdles in providing cashless treatment to the infected patients.
Such complaints were being received along with exorbitant charges being taken for the treatment, he said and requested the health insurance companies and private hospitals immediately address such complaints.
He said in case of failure the insurance regulatory authority should immediately take stern action in the interest of the patients.
