‘Insider X 2022’ on interior designing to be held in Hyderabad from June 3

Hyderabad: Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), Hyderabad Regional Chapter (HRC), is hosting the Fourth Edition of its prestigious flagship event “IIID Showcase Insider X 2022”, with the theme Telangana Art and Craft at Hitex Exhibition Centre re from June 3 to 5.
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will inaugurate the exhibition on June 3 while Principal Secretary (MA&UD) Arvind Kumar, will be unveiling the Arts & Crafts workshop and the works displayed by students in the evening followed by a keynote address by the eminent Architect Naresh V Narasimhan, at Hotel Avasa,t he Institute said in a release here on Tuesday.
Principal Secretary (IT and Industries) Jayesh Ranjan, will be the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Ceremony on June 4.
Some highlights of the exhibition are Bamboo Workshop; Arts & Crafts Pavilion; Best out of Waste competition; Student Works, Stall Design Competition.
Spread over three days, the B2B Trade Expo will showcase emerging trends and contemporary design solutions.
IIID Showcase Insider X 2022 Convener and IIID-HRC Honorary Treasurer, Rakesh Vasu stated that, “The IIID Hyderabad Chapter hosts the Design Showcase event bi-annually to bring to the Hyderabad fraternity the latest trends, thoughts and innovations in the Design industry. This time the showcase is based on a Theme of Arts & Crafts.
While encouraging the Artisans, weavers and craftsmen of the Art & Crafts industry, IIID-HRC has uniquely conducted educational workshops for the Designers, Students and Architects by the Artisans and craftsmen, he added.
There would be a display of Art & Craft installations designed and crafted by Eminent Designers Supraja Rao, Kunal Shah, Soga, Priyanka Narula and Hoozinc.
IIID-HRC Chairperson Manoj Wahi said this Showcase is an attempt to reach out to all the Designers and is the biggest event in this category held in the combined Telugu states. Around 2000 designers are expected to attend this Expo, and an overall footfall of 4000 vis expected during the three days.
Expo Co-Convenor Navin Chalasani, explained that “The exhibition will showcase the best and latest trends for interiors, with participation of 120+ Exhibitors and 500+ Brands from 50+ categories, spread across two halls, thus creating a single platform for the Trade Associates to interact with the best in Industry.”
Jaleel Sabir, Vice-Chairman (Trade) & Treasurer-IIID Showcase Insider X 2022; said, “This Expo is unique, because it’s done by the Design fraternity including architects and interior designers for the trade fraternity. It’s the only show where there is a collaboration between the products and solutions the trade fraternity offers and the Designers, it shows that the two go hand in hand. This is the best opportunity for the trade fraternity to showcase their products and each of the trade partners has benefitted tremendously from this event in the past.
