‘India’s Rising Talent’, a platform for e-patriotic youth
Pune: In order to give opportunity to the talents of the youth, the national campaign ‘India’s Rising Talent’ powered by the Indian Youth Congress was launched by the hands of actresses Tejaswini Pandit and Prajakta Gaikwad here on Tuesday at Shivajinagar, Pune.
Krishna Allavaru, National In charge of Indian Youth Congress & National Secretary of Indian National Congress, Srinivas BV, National President of Indian Youth Congress, Kunal Raut, State President, Maharashtra Youth Congress, Shivraj More, State Vice President, Maharashtra Youth Congress, Stand-up Comedian Makarand Tillu, Mimicry Artist Yogesh Supekar were present on the occasion.
Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress in charge Mitendra Singh briefly introduced the campaign. National Secretary Dr. Vaishnavi Kirad moderated the function.
Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress’s Western Maharashtra in charge Pratima Mudgal, Co Incharge Vandana Ben, National Secretary Pradeep Sindhav, Vice President Sharan Patil, Tanveer Muthari, Sonal Lakshmi Ghag, State General Secretary Vijaysinh Chaudhary, Praveen Kumar Biradar, Akshay Jain, Prathamesh Abnave, State Secretary Umesh Pawar, Pune City Youth Congress Rahul Sirsath, Vice President Saurabh Amarale and other office bearers worked hard for the success of the program, said a press release.
The talent show will have categories like Singing, rapping, poetry, mimicry, stand-up comedy, Insta Reels/ YouTube stories, and street play. The theme of the show will revolve around the burning issues of India like unemployment, women’s safety, price hike, corruption, and lack of law and order.
Since it is a theme-based show it will allow the participants to address the many challenges India faces as a developing country through their talent and will let them express their views in a creative manner.
A one-minute video entry will be taken, in which finals will be held at the district level and state level. The grand finale will be held at the national level and the prizes of a total of nine lakh rupees will be awarded, the release said.
Krishna Allavaru appreciated the efforts taken by Indian Youth Congress. He stated that the development or goodness of a country is not the job of soldiers, police, or politicians alone. Every youth should take a lead and contribute to the nation. It is necessary to raise the voice to take the country forward. This campaign will mobilize positivity and patriotism in the youth of the nation. The concept of this campaign is amazing and it combines art, talent, and strength.
Shrinivas BV said that, a talent hunt show which aims to discover and nurture new talents from different states of India with diversity at its focus. The vision of the show is to provide ‘breakthrough’ opportunities to emerging talents and meaningfully bring together the young talents on the same stage from different states. It aims to hunt the deprived talented youngsters to support their stories, unearth raw talent and provide them with recognition on the national stage, said release.
Tejaswini Pandit congratulated and appealed to the youth to participate in large numbers. They have a good opportunity to show their talent and contribute to the nation. We should raise our voices against unemployment, price hike, lack of law & order, women’s safety, corruption, and other issues around us.
Prajakta Gaikwad said that everyone has a talent inside. It is needed to get an opportunity to show it. This platform is ready to give you an opportunity to show your talent along with a social cause. Youths from rural to urban areas should take benefit from it.
Makarand Tillu told how we can present various issues through standup comedy. Yogesh Supekar performed a few pieces of mimicry and appealed to the youth to participate in the voice of various actors, release added. (UNI) (pic credit–MegaMarathi.com)
