Indian Oil Corporation Sets Up Petrol Pump in Nayagaon

Nayagaon(Mohali): Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has established Balaji Filling Station – a new petrol pump in Nayagaon, located in Punjab’s Mohali district. This development comes as a major relief to the residents of the area, who previously had to travel to Chandigarh to refuel their vehicles. 
The petrol pump was inaugurated by Mr. Anuj Jain, Director (Finance), IOCL, in the presence of Mr. Ashutosh Gupta, Executive Director & State Head, IOCL Punjab State Office (PSO).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anuj Jain said, “Nayagaon has witnessed rapid development and population growth in recent years. Yet, the absence of a nearby fuel station posed a daily inconvenience for residents. With the opening of this new IOCL petrol pump, we aim to provide seamless access to quality fuel, saving both time and travel for commuters. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to customer convenience and infrastructure development.” Notably, Nayagaon, a densely populated semi-urban locality on the outskirts of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, had long lacked a fuel station despite its growing population and daily commuter traffic. Recognizing this need, IOCL took the initiative to bridge the gap and has now operationalized the modern fuel station in the heart of the Chandigarh suburb. The newly launched petrol pump is integrated with IOCL’s All India Software, which ensures 100% transparency in fuel quality and quantity. Customers can be assured of receiving the correct quantity of fuel at the highest standards of quality. “Through the integration with our nationwide digital platform, customers can be confident in the accuracy of every fuel transaction. Our systems ensure real-time monitoring, which guarantees that quality and quantity are never compromised,” Mr. Jain added.
