IIC. Govt. College ChD, organises a seminar on Innovation, Entrepreneuship and Career Dev.

Chandigarh:   The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Post Graduate Government College (Co-ed.), Sector 11, Chandigarh, in collaboration with NGO Career India, successfully organized a Grand Seminar on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Development at the college’s Main Auditorium on Sept. 17.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response with more than 700 students in attendance, alongwith faculty and staff. The seminar aimed at nurturing an innovation and start-up ecosystem within the institution and equipping students with practical tools for entrepreneurship according to a  Career India  Press release.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sachin Goyal, Director of NGO, Career India and Krishna IAS Coaching, Sector 24, Chandigarh. A distinguished corporate trainer, motivational speaker, and mentor, Dr. Goyal captivated the audience with his powerful insights, making them spellbound with his session on start-up culture, ideation, design thinking, SWOT analysis, systematic goal setting, and right career identification.
Adding further inspiration, Dr. Sangeeta enthralled the audience with her motivational poems, which infused positivity and zeal among the students.
The program was graced by Principal Dr. J. K. Sehgal, who appreciated the efforts of the IIC team and emphasized the importance of innovation and creativity in today’s academic environment. Baljit Sir, Head of IIC, PGGC, also shared valuable tips on entrepreneurship and project management, encouraging students to think beyond conventional career paths.
A notable highlight of the seminar was the enthusiasm among students, with many expressing their desire to prepare for UPSC examinations (IAS, IPS, PCS, HCS). In response, the college assured that special arrangements will be made to guide and support aspirants within the institution.
The event concluded with a strong message of innovation, self-belief, and career-oriented growth, marking another milestone for PGGC, Sector 11, Chandigarh, in its journey towards fostering a dynamic innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
