HP Rains: Three-storey building collapses in Shimla

Shimla: South West monsoon wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, throwing life out of gear with a three-storey building collapsed due to heavy rain.
Besides, a valley bridge, crops and fertile land were also washed away in the flash flood.
A sudden flood in Jiva Nala of Gadsa Valley located in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh swept away trees on the banks of the river.
SP Kullu Gurudev Sharma said that no casualty has been reported so far. fifty sheep and goats are reportedly missing.
While a bailey bridge near Shilagarh has also been washed away.
A building in Chopal town under the Shimla collapsed. The building housed one Dhaba, UCO Bank Branch, Krishi Bank Branch, and liquor shop. The building was vacated before it collapsed. (UNI)
